Marc Manning

Marc Manning grew up in an automotive engineering family , his father was a teacher and designer at S.U. Carburettors and later a consultant for a lot of international racing teams ,helping them with the complexities of the new era of Turbocharged racing engines.

Marc started his motorsports career very early and by the time he had left school and headed to college he had already gained a lot of automotive design and mechanical experience from visiting race tracks and racing teams all around the European circuit , thanks to his families passion and connections in the industry.

Marc started his college training in Mechanical and Technical Engineering and apprenticeship as a Junior Draughtsman for an engineering company close to his home town of Birmingham in the United Kingdom.

The company he was initially sponsored by were heavily involved in manufacture for the Defense and Aerospace industry .

This led Marc down the path of development engineer contracted to the Ministry of Defense, Rolls Royce Aerospace and British Nuclear Fuels , amongst many others.

After several years as a development engineer Marc took his knowledge gained and applied it to Low Ground Pressure Vehicle design and in particular handling including the early concepts of Torque Vectoring.

Since these early days Marcs career naturally progressed to combine with his passion for Racing , he has been contracted to many manufacturers and Racing Teams since , from Formula One to Touring cars.
